I don't really have much to say about dubstep, for the most part i hate it. some stuff is ok but i find it overall do disconnected and chaotic to actually enjoy it. overall i think the best part about dubstep is watching people "dance" to it in clubs, which I have been told, looks kind of like someone having an epileptic shock.

Who are the Guerilla Girls? Well overall they are a group of female artists who work to try and promote equality in the art world. A large amount of their work is directed towards showing how unfair the art world is in terms of race and gender and the best chance a woman has to be in an art gallery is if they posed naked. On the off hand their work is quite incredibl and has also led rise to new styles of art.

Warwick, well that guy is doing some cool, and scary things, he is fascinated with cyborgs and generally wants to become one himself. He is the professor of the cybernetic in the University of Reedings, England and has been doing a lot of work in implanting technology into the human body, some of which he has done to himself. Overall I think its an insane idea but not sure how i feel about it for sure.

Obarzaneks and Obermeier both are creative artists who want are incorporate modern technologies, movement and dance to create a new experience for people to receive.

The concept of this was to xerox parts of my body and create art out of it. Being me i decided i wanted to do a zombie theme for my project. Unfortunately due to the amount of lighting the prints were harder to see than I had originally expected. Also, there was quite a bit of wind making it difficult to have the photos up for more than a few minutes. I do plan on remaking this at a later time and date on a much larger scale.

We were given a project in class called Grid Art. The concept of grid art is to create or recreate an image using a grid (hence the name obviously). Anyways the project was to be a 30x30 grid using any material we chose. For my project i used 1.75 in. sticky notes of different colors. This posed somewhat of a problem as to finding a good image to try and recreate, originally i wanted to create a beach scene but I was unable to due to the lack of colors I had. I instead switched to a landscape scene. In the end my project came to be a 900 sticky note 5x5 ft square on my wall. The only issue i have with the project is now i have about 1600 leftover sticky notes and i have no idea what to do with them.

Overall I found the project to be pretty fun although time consuming and i realized that lowering the number of "pixels" or date of an image greatly changes the image as a whole to a point almost unrecognizable .

Surrealism, what is it? well according to the definition i found on Google surrealism is A 20th century avant-garde art movement that sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind. Generally, Surrealism went against all the norms of art back in the day, and rather than creating things that an artist saw saw, they were able to be more imaginative and create things using their imagination. Without Surrealism, art would be vastly different, just based of off that concept, there would be no comics or as many cartoons, there would be less creativity because the birth of Sur

Hello, my name is Nicholas Geronimo. I'm a Junior and a digital arts major studying at the University of Tampa. I'm hoping to be able to get a job modeling characters or landscape for video games. I was born in Texas but with my father in the military I moved around a lot and grew all over the place and i like to claim England as my home, having lived there the longest as well as that's where my family was stationed before I left for college. I am taking this course as it is required for my major and I am hoping it will help me understand art better, or rather understand why some things are considered art even though i don't see it.
